Attending The International Blues Challenge has been a family tradition for years and many fans and artists have turned into a term that you hear often within the street of Beale, ” The Blues Family”. It is a fun festival, jammed pack with a four day competition. The venues of Beale Street fill up with musicians from all over the world, participating in a challenge where the finals are held at the beautiful, world famous Orpheum Theatre. Such a stunning historic venue. Fans, volunteers, venue judges and musicians who participate in the festivities meet people from all the over the world who hearts are in the blues. The last day of the International Blues Challenge is filled with the cream of the crop performers and Indiana’s Very own Dave Muskett was on the stage!
