Greenwood Police have made an arrest in the rape of a woman inside her apartment early Sunday morning. Shawn Corbally, 33, was arrested Tuesday following a tip to police saying Corbally matched the description of the suspect and had similar tattoos. Police showed Corbally‘s photo to the victim who positively identified him as her attacker.

Corbally was previously convicted of rape in 2000 and sentenced to 25 years in prison. He was released in February after serving nearly half of his sentence and was on probation at the time of the arrest.
